REMINDER: New Students submit your photo by Friday, August 3rd!
WANT YOUR MICA ID?! SKIP THE LINE, SEND YOUR PHOTO TODAY!
August 3, 2018 is the priority deadline to submit your digital photo for your MICARD (your student identification card). Your ID card will be ready and waiting for you at Orientation Check-in on Monday, August 20. IDs are not guaranteed to be ready for students who submit photos after the deadline.
How do I submit my digital photo?
Submit a color photo of yourself against a solid background. The picture should be only of yourself from the neck up, or it will not be accepted.
Since ID cards are fairly small, we need to have as much of your face clearly visible in the picture as possible. Please do not wear sunglasses, hats, or other props for the photo. If photo is exaggerated in any way, it will not be accepted.
Save your photo in JPG format. Please use the LOW image size setting. This typically is 640 X 480 pixels.
Take the picture in PORTRAIT orientation (in other words, in a passport/vertical orientation).
Once you have taken the picture and are satisfied that it is clear and sharp, please send it as an attachment in an email to email@example.com.
Please include in your email:
- Your full name
- Please specify you are a Graduate student
- Where you will be living (i.e. On-Campus or Off-Campus)
- If you are living on campus please specify your residence hall.
Important: A Message from Dr. Judith Kinney
This is a reminder, if you haven't already done so, to complete and forward the Health History Form and Meningococcal waiver if applicable to MICA's Student Health Center. Forms can be either emailed (firstname.lastname@example.org) or faxed to 410.225.0252.
Please note that if you are planning to live in on-campus housing, and have not received a meningitis vaccine, you will not be allowed to move in without first having signed and returned the Meningococcal Vaccine Waiver.
We look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
Dr. Judith Kinney

In addition to providing support services and accommodations for students with disabilities, the LRC houses MICA's Writing Studio, where students can access tutoring and other writing resources.
MICA Pet Policy - Pets Welcome!
If you're interested in bringing your pet to campus, take a few moments to read MICA's Pet Policy! Click here for more information. Here are some important highlights:
All animals on campus must be registered with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager. Everything you need to register your pet can be found here:
Once the registration process is complete, a MICA Pet ID tag will be assigned to your pet and must be displayed on the pet at all times while on campus. No pet will be allowed on campus without an ID tag.
