Artscape - Closures & Impact to MICA Campus
VEHICLE ACCESS PASS required to drive on Campus and to access the Corpus Christi and Bunting parking lots
Pick up your passes at Campus Safety Fox Desk or the Office of Events, Bunting B350. The Vehicle Access Pass will need to be in your windshield starting Monday, July 16. Please fill out the pass completely in case someone needs your car moved.
You will need this VEHICLE ACCESS PASS to get past barriers to drive on campus to access the parking lots and buildings. City point control personnel may be posted at the barriers to check passes. (These passes will not allow you to enter the campus or to park during Festival hours.)

PARKING will be limited in the following locations:

- Street parking from Mt Royal Ave and McMechen St to Mt Royal Ave and Cathedral St will not be available starting Monday, July 16.
- Mt. Royal Station parking lot will close on Monday, July 16.
- The Corpus Christi lot will close on Wednesday, July 18.
- Street Parking on Mosher, Malster & McMechen will not be available starting Thursday, July 19
- The East Bunting lot will close Friday.
- The Mosher Street Lot (Formerly RK&K) is available Monday-Thursday to anyone with a MICA parking permit.
- On Friday, July 20, you will need an Artscape Parking Pass to park in the Mosher Street Lot, a limited number of passes are available from the Office of Events, Bunting 350.
- If all Mosher Street Lot passes are distributed, you may park in the Fitzgerald Garage and bring your receipt to David Zeit in Student Accounts for Reimbursement.
- Bunting North Lot – No Parking Saturday, July 21 or Sunday, July 22
- Lazarus Center Lots
- Maryland Avenue Lot
- North Avenue Lot - No parking Saturday, July 21 2-8PM
The College will close early at 2pm on Friday, July 20 and many buildings will be locked and not accessible. There are exceptions for scheduled classes and programs. The Lazarus Center will be accessible to students for programming, please make sure you have your MICA ID with you. Please see the attachment for details on MICA spaces impacted by Artscape.

I Want to Attend Artscape!
The MICA "ArtMarket: Summer Edition" will be held in the Brown Center Atrium with fine crafts and art by MICA staff, alums and faculty. The Meyerhoff and Decker Galleries will exhibit the Sondheim Prize Semi-Finalists, “Field Work” exhibition will be in the Pinkard Gallery and the MICA Alumni Biennial Exhibition in Gateway and Fox 3 Galleries. Falvey Hall will have a full schedule of varied music performances Friday through Sunday.
We will be surrounded by crafts and non-profit organization booths, at the south end of campus the MICA Main Stage will once again be in the Mount Royal Station Lot and the north end will host the Morgan State University Sound Off Live! Festival Stage which this year has moved north to the 1500 Block of Mount Royal Ave. There will be a food and beverage court up and down Mount Royal Avenue. All the food vendors are from Maryland. Artscape takes place in the Mount Royal Avenue & Cathedral Street, Charles Street, Bolton Hill, and Station North Arts & Entertainment District neighborhoods.
FREE and open to the public! Artscape is held outdoors in tents, and inside the neighborhood's premier exhibition spaces and performing arts venues. The event is handicapped accessible.

Professional Development Course Offerings
Call for Entry: Rehoboth Art League Regional Juried Biennial Exhibition

This exhibition has an open call for entries to all artists who are residents of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Artists may submit up to three works for review. The submission cost is $20.00 for Rehoboth Art League members and $40.00 for non-members.
There is a total of $2500.00 dollars in cash awards (6) given for exemplary works selected by the juror. The Best in Show award carries with it a $1500.00 cash prize and a solo exhibition in our Ventures Gallery running concurrent with our next Biennial (September 2020). The juror and judge for this year’s Biennial exhibition is Ben Simons, Director of the Academy Art Museum in Easton Maryland. Mr. Simons received a Masters of Arts and a Masters of Philosophy/AbD in English from Yale University. Previous positions have included the Robyn and John Davis Chief Curator of the Nantucket Historical Association, Campaign Office for the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Board Member of the Maryland Citizens for the Arts.

Artists can apply online with a resume, bio, proposal and 10 + images. Up to 40 artists will be selected to exhibit in our new space. Located in the trendy San Francisco Dogpatch neighborhood, 1599 Tennessee Street is accessible from 280 freeway, the 3rd street Muni line, and it's within walking distance of Minnesota Street Project, McEvoy Foundation for the Arts, and the Museum of Craft and Design.
