Design Workshop: Reimagining Graduate Student Orientation 2017! (This Saturday)
Saturday, July 8
9:30 am - 11 am
Center for Social Design, Lazarus 170
** Coffee and breakfast snacks provided! **
Reflecting on your personal orientation experiences from 2016, what was successful? What was a challenge? What do you wish would have happened but didn't? We want to hear your thoughts and make space for new ideas to reimagine orientation by asking: How might we create a personal, playful, and participatory orientation experience for new graduate students? Together, we'll brainstorm ideas and share ways improvement can be made for a better sense of connection and community.
Coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided! We look forward to seeing you there. Please RSVP to Irina at email@example.com if you're coming.
Feel free to forward this onto anyone else who may be interested, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for questions.

The Rubys are project-based funding of up to $10,000 for emerging and established Baltimore-regional artists to support the creation of innovative artistic projects. The grants support the region’s gems – the local creative community of performing, visual, media, and literary artists.
The Rubys were established in 2013 by the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance, with the vision and start-up funding from the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation, to provide meaningful support to individual artists as well as enrich the arts and broader community of Baltimore and the five surrounding counties.
The current grant cycle is for Literary Arts and Visual Arts projects.
In 2017, CERF+ will award “Get Ready” Grants of up to $500 to individual artists, and up to $1,500 to groups of artists, in two grant cycles. The “Get Ready” Grant Program encourages awareness of, and provides funding for, artists working in craft disciplines to conduct activities that will help safeguard their studios, protect their careers, and implement other safety measures to help artists build and sustain strong and resilient careers.
